Laboratory records
Values, units, flags, and reference ranges shown in Luma are copied from information you provide or approve after extraction. Ranges can vary by laboratory, testing method, age, biological sex, pregnancy status, and clinical circumstances. Luma does not independently determine whether a result is medically normal, safe, or dangerous.
OCR and manual entry can contain mistakes. Review every field against the original report and ask a qualified healthcare professional to interpret results in your full context.
Comparisons and assistant answers
Changes, percentages, dates, and trends are calculated deterministically from stored entries. A change is not a conclusion about health. Assistant answers must identify the report, test date, and relevant value used; missing information is not inferred. Requests requiring diagnosis or treatment are refused.
Cycle estimates
Cycle predictions are probability-based estimates from recorded period starts. Recent cycles receive more weight, uncertainty widens with limited or variable history, and ovulation is estimated separately from the next period. These dates are not confirmation of ovulation, medical conclusions, fertility or pregnancy determinations, or a reliable method of contraception. Do not use Luma as birth control.
Emergencies and professional care
Do not use Luma to decide whether an emergency exists or what to do in an emergency. Contact local emergency services or a qualified healthcare professional immediately if you may need urgent help. Do not delay or disregard professional care because of information displayed by Luma.
